Caught shoplifting by store police

Postby iamTWOcats » Wed Mar 03, 2010 8:49 pm

I was recently caught shoplifting by the store police at a Store name. They threated to call the cops (I think to scare me since I'm only 18) but instead they are fining me for $350 for a $3.41 bag of chicken. Is there anyway that I can get out of this? I'm not really looking forward to having to pay $350.

For your protection I removed store name

No there is no way out of fine. Not paying can carry severe consequences.

Pay the fine or the store will sue you for possibly thousands of dollars. They might also still file charges if you don't pay.
Please check one of the following for your lame excuse for shoplifting
Depressed/under medicated/over medicated/off your meds/sad/mentally ill/single mother/single father/death in the family/friend made you do it/item magically teleported into your bag
