When I was arrested and was told that I'd get my court date,
I thought everything would be fine and it's just something I'll need to talk to the judge about.

I came home and searched some cases similar to mine,
I realized what I've done was a BIG deal and getting a court date and having something on my record will BE a problem in my life.

I stayed up all night the day I got caught.
My parents don't speak English at all, so as a 17 years old girl, I knew I'd have to take care of everything that I'll need to face.
I finally found this site, posted up my case, hoping to get some answers.

The help this site had provided had answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like a criminal like others had done to me.
I feel more ready to go to my trial now.

My case was about a shoplifting case, I'm hoping to get into diversion program. If you ever read this, please pray for me that I won't have the conviction on my record.

I've moved to US 3 years ago, I've worked really hard in my life to learn English and to get into top colleges in the US. I'm on my 3rd year of high school, my profiles and grades are just more than perfect, lots of my friends and people expect me to get into one of the top colleges.
I know I made a stupid mistakes. I really want my life back.
